Elizabeth Cooper is a graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned her A.B. with honors in Theology & Religious Studies and Classical Studies. At Georgetown, she completed a senior honors thesis examining interpretations of Genesis in early Jewish and Christian thought and held leadership roles in the university’s Classical Studies community.

Elizabeth brings extensive experience in academic tutoring, writing instruction, and college preparation. She has worked with students across a wide range of ages and academic levels, helping them strengthen their critical reading, analytical writing, and communication skills. Her experience also includes SAT preparation and college application advising, where she has helped students develop stronger academic profiles and communicate their ideas with greater clarity and confidence.

With her interdisciplinary background in literature, classics, history, religion, and ethics, Elizabeth especially enjoys helping students engage thoughtfully with challenging texts, develop well-supported arguments, and become more sophisticated and independent writers and thinkers.

Outside the classroom, Elizabeth is an avid reader with a particular interest in twentieth-century literature. She is also an accomplished musician who plays multiple instruments, including piano, flute, violin, and cello.
