With a deep appreciation for literature and the Humanities, Asia works with students to refine their writing, strengthen their critical thinking, and build confidence in their ability to craft compelling arguments. Drawing from her interdisciplinary background, she encourages students to engage with texts thoughtfully, ask meaningful questions, and express their ideas with clarity and originality. Inspired by reciprocal teaching models, she fosters a dynamic classroom environment where students take an active role in discussions and learning. Her greatest joy as an educator is seeing students recognize their own potential and celebrate their intellectual achievements.
Beyond her work in education, Asia is a writer and artist whose performances have been featured at The Bronx Museum, A.I.R. Gallery, and The Shed, where she recently made her Off-Broadway debut. She is also a founding member of Lucid, a streaming platform showcasing genre-defying films, which has been recognized at SXSW and Forbes 30 Under 30 (Art & Style).
Asia’s dual experience as an educator and artist allows her to guide students in mastering both academic and creative writing, helping them find their unique voices while developing the skills necessary for success in literature, humanities, and beyond.
