Larom combines a strong foundation in reading and writing with extensive experience in tutoring and academic instruction. She has worked with high school students in the academic programs, helping them develop analytical reading skills, clear and persuasive writing, and confidence with complex, exam-style questions. She is particularly skilled at guiding students in structuring thesis-driven essays and expressing ideas effectively.

Beyond her tutoring experience, Larom brings a unique perspective from her studies in Astrophysics and Applied Physics, offering students a rigorous, analytical approach to thinking and problem-solving. Her scientific background enriches her mentorship by fostering deep conceptual understanding, critical reasoning, and a systematic approach to analyzing texts and ideas.

Larom completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Harvard University, a liberal arts and research-focused institution, and is currently pursuing her PhD at Cambridge University. She has served for classes ranging from introductory to graduate level and participates in outreach teaching at schools worldwide. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, baking, origami, fashion, sailing, and spoken word poetry.
