Claira graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Government & Psychology. During college she was the president of Harvard Model Congress Middle East, and staffed dozens of Model United Nations and Model Congress Conferences around the world across 6 countries. At Harvard, Claira worked as a Peer Advising Fellow and Undergraduate Admissions Financial Aid Student Representative. Since graduating, Claira has solo traveled and backpacked across 20 countries and written about her adventures. Claira’s professional background ranges from her most recent work at the Division of Human Rights, to her prior work in think tanks, digital media strategy, management consulting, and environmental law & policy. Claira has eight years of language arts (reading and writing) tutoring and mentorship experience across several countries and states. Outside of being an academic overachiever, Claira loves going on hikes and runs with her dog and reading during rainy days.
